Craven Park has a wide range of facilities:
We have 24 single rooms and 1 companion room.
Each of our rooms has en-suite facilities and is individually and tastefully decorated.
All our rooms have a TV, telephone and fitted wardrobes.
Residents are able to bring their own pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture.
All of our rooms are connected to a nurse call system.
We can offer assisted baths, which help maintain independence.
We have a lift for our residents convenience, plus extra wide corridors and doorways to allow wheelchair bound residents and visitors easy access around the home.
The main lounge overlooks the garden, patio and fountain.
We have maintained gardens laid out with walkways, lawns and patio areas.
We provide qualified nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day.
We have an Activities Co-ordinator that works with our residents on a daily basis.
We take our residents on day trips as often as possible. Some of our past trips include visits to garden centres for cups of tea and when the weather is favourable we go to parks such as Hyde Park. Residents also have the option to go on personal shopping trips on a one-to-one basis and also in groups. Previous Christmas trips have been to Whiteleys in Bayswater and Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
We also have parties for residents at Christmas and Easter and also summer fetes where we invite residents relatives to join us. The parties often include comedians, artists, raffle prizes, music and dance to entertain our residents.
